Welcome to Unschooling Ohio

I began unschooling, my own children, back in 2012, after spending hundreds of hours researching the different methods of homeschooling. I became fascinated with the idea of child-led learning. And started a Facebook page, so I had a place to gather and place all of the information I had collected. There is a lot of information out there, but it was all over the internet, in different locations. Hence Unschooling Ohio was born. I have been asked many, many times for help in getting started in Unschooling. In regards to the laws and what documents are required. I have come to realize that there are many parents out there who want to pursue this particular type of schooling, but do not have the time to put into doing the research and gathering the correct documents they need. That is what encouraged me to create this website and create a streamlined package of the documents needed to begin your journey. I have a detailed description included with each document that explains everything you need to know about the documents. Some of the documents are informational only but are included to help you get a better understanding of the laws and what you are required to submit. I plan on adding additional educational packets in the future as well. I will also be offering consultant services shortly, for questions and assistance in regards to unschooling. This is only the beginning of this website, stay tuned for more to come.
